Barnard 150 is a dark nebula in the constellation of Cepheus, composed of cold gas and dust that absorb the light from background stars. This interaction creates well-defined silhouettes in the sky, with its shape often associated with a seahorse.
Although virtually invisible in visible light, the nebula reveals its structure in infrared wavelengths, where it is possible to observe its inner regions and signs of young star formation.
