DWB 111 is a faint emission nebula located in the constellation of Cepheus, composed of clouds of ionized hydrogen that glow under the influence of nearby stars. It is a relatively little-known region, but rich in subtle structures and delicate filaments.
Associated with star-forming regions, DWB 111 is best revealed through long exposures and specialized filters, making it an excellent example of the more elusive and challenging objects in deep-sky astrophotography.
